Lisse (ZH)

Lisse's oldest church is the reformed church which dates from the 15th century, although it has been modified several times.

This Roman Catholic church is the neo-Gothic St. Agatha, built 1902-1903. It is often attributed to architect J.H.H. van Groenendael, but was in fact designed by his brother J.H. van Groenendael.

The Christelijk Gereformeerde Kerk is another reformed church, this time belonging to a different branch. It's one of three protestant churches in Lisse in Expressionistic style.

Outside the actual village, in what is a former hamlet now part of Lisse, stands this impressive dome-church, the Roman-Catholic H. Engelbewaarders from 1924, designed by architect Jan Stuyt.
